BIM Data Analyst and Document Controller

Role Responsibilities:

1. Data Management: Use Dynamo, an open-source visual programming extension for Autodesk software, to automate tasks in BIM environments, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in data handling and documentation.
2. Data Visualization and Reporting: Utilize Power BI to create interactive reports and dashboards that provide insightful analytics and metrics from construction projects. This involves transforming raw data from BIM and other construction management software into actionable insights.
3. Document Control: Manage technical documents such as drawings, blueprints, and reports ensuring they are up to date and available to all stakeholders. Implement document control policies to maintain order and efficiency.
4. Integration and Automation: Develop workflows that integrate data processes between Dynamo, BIM software (like Revit), and Power BI, ensuring seamless data flow and real-time analytics.
5. Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to project teams on using Dynamo scripts and Power BI dashboards. Help troubleshoot issues related to the custom tools and reports created.

Project Involvement:

• Work closely with BIM Managers, project managers, and design teams to assess needs and develop custom solutions.
• Regularly update stakeholders on the progress of data-driven initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
2. Technical Proficiency:
   
   • Advanced skills in Dynamo for creating custom workflows within BIM software.
   • Proficient in using Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
   • Experience with Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.

1. Experience in Document Control: Knowledge of standard practices in document management, particularly in construction or engineering projects.
2. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and convert them into strategic insights.
